Manchester Craft and Design Centre celebrates 30th anniversary
The Manchester Craft and Design Centre reaches its 30th anniversary this year and is marking this milestone by holding a charity auction on Thursday 8 November. The proceeds will support the development of a new Welcome area at the centre and also help fund local charity Forever Manchester. Continue reading

Grizedale Arts take part in Frieze Art Fair
Grizedale Arts, one of the Arts Council’s national portfolio organisations, is the first publically funded arts organisation to be invited to take part in the 2012 Frieze Art Fair by the Frieze Foundation. Their project, Colosseum of the Consumed, will reflect the increasing interest in ecology, food and innovative work taking place in rural areas around the world
