You are invited to the launch on Saturday July 7th 2012, from 2.30 – 4.30 pm, at the war memorial. A small exhibition of ideas, maquettes, drawings, sketchbooks and background stories will be held in the entrance hall of Darwen Library untill August 3rd. (Library opens on Saturday from 10.00 – 4.00)

The trail, commissioned by the Friends of BoldVenture Park, and funded by Groundwork Trust, comprises 8 sculptures, based on stories from the locality, dotted throughout the park. 7 of these I have fabricated in steel and most are hung in the trees. The 8th piece is a relief stone carving into the old quarry wall by Thompson Dagnall. Both artists will be present
You will find the park by going up Borough Road off the A666 in the centre of Darwen.
