NFASP members meeting – 5th December, Leeds

Calling all studio groups and NFASP members based in the North West/East and Yorkshire to join a new NFASP Northern Network of artists’ studio groups. In partnership with studio group East Street Arts, Leeds, NFASP invites you to Leeds on Monday 5th December, 6th Floor, Phoenix House, South Parade, Leeds, LS1 5QX from 12.00pm for lunch followed by discussion between 1-3pm on setting up a collaborative network.

This will be a chance to share experiences, offer help to each other and plug into the extensive advice and information from NFASP resources. The network will offer a discussion and debate on how best to share knowledge, skills and experience across the North and more locally. Gallery development, premises management, collaborating in initiatives, professional development along with resource sharing and exchange are just some of the themes that studio groups have highlighted so far. The afternoon will offer a structured opportunity to talk to other groups and find out what you can learn and share together.

From 3pm there will be a chance to have a tour of this year’s Northern Art Prize Exhibition in the Leeds City Art Gallery with a curatorial introduction followed by drinks. We hope also to have the opportunity to be introduced to the current shows at the Henry Moore Institute.

For NFASP members a one to one surgery on a specific issue can be booked between 12.00 and 1pm. The event is free and you do not have to be a member of NFASP to come along! Please register your place with:
