This project is totally non profit. It is open to everyone worldwide! Papergirl is a street art project originating in Berlin in 2006, which is now produced in cities worldwide. Art is collected from the creative community, exhibited, and then, in the style of American paperboys, rolled up and distributed by bicycle to random passers-by
As part of the national Artists Access to Art Colleges project we will be offering two placements to artists and designer-makers, giving them the opportunity to undertake a period of research or realise a project using our workshop and supporting facilities

A North West College has been selected as a partner by Europe’s top Art and Design awarding body. Blackburn College has been hand-picked by the University of the Arts London (UAL) to deliver the level 3 UAL accredited extended diploma across all its art, design and media courses in addition to the level 2 Art and Design provision.
You are invited to the launch on Saturday July 7th 2012, from 2.30 – 4.30 pm, at the war memorial. A small exhibition of ideas, maquettes, drawings, sketchbooks and background stories will be held in the entrance hall of Darwen Library untill August 3rd. (Library opens on Saturday from 10.00 – 4.00)
Historically we have travelled out to work in the community but now we plan open up our building to artists and invite communities into our building by hosting a variety of arts and craft activities for different groups.
We are looking for artists and makers to facilitate a range of creative sessions to the general public and targeted groups.
The Action Factory building is located inBlackburn not far from junction 6 of the M65.
