Project Space Leeds to open new visual arts centre with investment from Carlsberg UK and the Arts Council

A four-storey former headquarters building on Carlsberg UK’s brewery site in Leeds is to be transformed into a new centre for contemporary art and learning called The Tetley. Leeds Central Library receives funding to research viability of arts space

Leeds library and information service has been successful in bidding for Arts Council Grants for the arts funding of £10,000 to research the viability of a multi-functional arts space in Leeds Central Library. The Libraries Grants for the arts programme was launched in September 2012 and this is the first award to be announced in Yorkshire and the first project to have a Research and Development focus. NFASP members meeting – 5th December, Leeds

Calling all studio groups and NFASP members based in the North West/East and Yorkshire to join a new NFASP Northern Network of artists’ studio groups. In partnership with studio group East Street Arts, Leeds, NFASP invites you to Leeds on Monday 5th December, 6th Floor, Phoenix House, South Parade, Leeds, LS1 5QX from 12.00pm for lunch followed by discussion between 1-3pm on setting up a collaborative network.
